Family Recipes
We live in West Linn, Oregon and enjoy doing all things Jewish (eating included) and participating in all the great Pacific Northwest has to offer (okay, we don't ski).  Allison and Jason met while at the U of A.

The timeline of our pets and kids:

Athena was our first "kid".  She was born to Dick and Sue's cat, Daisy, who was not much more than 6 or 7 months old when she had Athena.  Daisy, a pure white cat, got involved with a field cat.  Jason, who was job hunting at the time, got to be the mid-wife and helped Daisy deliver her young.  It was quite an experience for Jason and Daisy.

Sophie was our second "kid".  Allison found Sophie from a Boxer breeder in Longview, WA.  Although the mom and dad were registered AKC Boxers, we did not go to the trouble of registering Sophie.  She was the runt of the litter and now is the most hyper-active kid we have.

Eliana was born in January 2000, just missing by 9 days of becoming a true Millenium baby.  She did get free tickets each year to see the Globetrotters by being born in 2000.  We are now to 2004 and have not attended a single game.  Eliana attends the Early Childhood Learning Center at the JCC here in Portland.  She loves going to school, going as far as trying to convince us that she should go to school on Saturday and Sunday (yes, she will love Hebrew school!).

Sarina joined the family in March 2003.  She has really become quite a little girl in the past year.  While not quite walking yet, she is really getting close.  We feel that our trip to Dallas will once again be the place that some big acheivement takes place.  She is at the childcare program at the JCC.  She recently enjoyed her 1st birthday.

As time permits, we will add more information to this page.
